Sacrifice

I love all of my friends so much, 
Why can't they be happy? 
Why can't it all be all right for all of them? 
Why does life have to beat us about like this? 
Why? 
I want to know. 
Tell me. 
Why? 
I love my friends so much, 
I'd take a bullet for them any day 
Why can't they be happy? 
I sacrafice myself 
I give myself unto whatever god 
Or gods may be there 
Take me instead 
Just let my friends be happy.
