True Beauty As I walk down the busy city streets Passing people with cell phones Glued to their ears Naive to all the beauty beyond life at work They are all dressed in gloomy dark colors Looking depressed in a fast moving world I stare at their faces and they stare back With suspicious eyes and fake smiles They hide behind laptops And refuse to show their true selves Behind and beyond the city is a world of beauty Where life slows to a pace that fits your pleasure Everything is green and bright with all happiness Life is stress free and everything is perfect And happy As I stand on the busy city street I wonder how many have bare witness To the beauty beyond the city And I wonder How many wish they how many wish they could But they can't pull away from technology And I wonder How many don't want to bare witness Natures true beauty Back
